Steere Orchard is a fourth generation family orchard started around 1930 by Arthur W. Steere with his son, Henry J. Steere. Today Jim Steere, grandson of the orchards founder, continues the tradition with his son John. Steere Orchard is the largest orchard in Rhode Island.

The Orchard Features “Pick Your Own” Apples, and produces about one dozen varieties, including Macoun,Honeycrisp, Gala, Cortland, Red and Golden Delicious, Macintosh and RI Greening. Also Available in our stand are our own Peaches in mid August. ,Pumpkins, Gourds, Squash, Indian Corn, Jams and Jellies, Apple Butter, Apple Cider, locally produced Honey.
